Very hard to picture a defender better or as good as Maldini though.

i'd pretty much stopped buying it at all by the time rio was at united so not really sure what this is all about tbh - apart from pure's normal stuff on here

remember the website as being all over the takeover though and am basically making the very best I can out of united's final year of existence as a football club this season.

Was a better centre half then Maldini.

Baresi is my all time favourite although Rio is much better physically. Miles bigger and faster.

Rio is massively underrated even by people who reckon he's shit hot.

He had everything. Pace, strength, passing ability, great positioning, leadership

Very rarely would you see Rio dive into a challenge or make those last ditch tackles (John Terry ) and that's because he never needed to

Genuine world class for a number of years and for me he is the best we've had.
