Great attitude to have.

Of course, we are full of options in midfield tomorrow, missing Casemiro and Eriksen as well.

Give the lad Mainoo a run out or try a different line-up.
McTominay is not the answer to our problems. He is utter gash and a fraud.

Fred and Sabitzer. Mainoo in reserve.

Then pull literally every £#%&!ing player out of the internationals.

Mctominay will be off in the summer and we should get a decent fee for him. Someone like Newcastle will like him. Runs around a lot. Another to add to the Longstaffs.

Proper odd behaviour that.

Just glad Sabitzer is back.

Sabitzer to start hopefully, We should not even be giving McTominay any time. He can't even get in to Scotlands midfield. Some people compare him to Darren Fletcher, he isn't anywhere near good enough.

Give Lindelof a go. All the others will be caught too far forward when we lose the ball.

I sometimes wonder if he shares his login. It’s as if he’s morphing into a wum.

Welcome to the side of the SuperSage.

Biggus Victus is a great option there.

He can tackle and intercept like a Saab Viggen. Play the simple ball to our zesty players with minimum fuss.

Heís a first class 3rd choice

That’s a very specific reason to play him

I thought he did a good impression of Casemiro when he came on in the Southampton game. He's not great but he's an option, which we kind of need right now.

True .

Casemiro is our only midfielder that doesn't over commit too far forward when we have the ball. Fred is liable to be anywhere and Sabitzer seems to like to stay forward as well. Lindelof is good on the ball and could be the best option in the squad to cover for Casemiro on the defensive side at least.
Eriksen has positional discipline as well so will make things easier when he's back.
If ETH wants to keep the same shape and system Lindelof could work.

As long as we have two fit midfielders, Lindelof is never starting a game in midfield for us.
