Weggles definitely needs to drop to the bench.

I’m not scapegoating him for that result, but we need to come out strongly for this game and get goals. Hopefully lots of them. I’d go Rashers up front, with Garnacho and Antony either side.

Sabz and Cass in the middle, Bruno ahead.

AWB definitely back in. I think at this point he’s just a better player than Dalot.

I’d move Shaw into the middle and maybe rest Varane. Malacia in.

This would be a great point if it was based on any sort of evidence other than your weird dislike for Malacia. In the past 10 games he’s started, we’ve scored 25 goals, which doesn’t seem a problem.

Two left footed centre backs and all that, I just can’t see that happening tbh.

Malacia needs to come in and fatty needs a spell in the reserves after that display on Sunday.

Yeah that’s a fair point, completely overlooked that tbh, daft suggestion. Just feel Varane needs a bit of a rest, and Malacia has played a lot of the EL games, and I like the energy he brings on the left at times.

I don't have any weird dislike for malacia. but the idea that he as effective as shaw at putting in dangerous crosses or overlapping rashford is... fanciful. shaw is our first choice left back for a reason. he's adequate cover at centre back in an emergency, but that takes too much away from his game.
