It’s the lack of connection with the players, we are getting older, the lack of team identity and the lack of character in that team.
We used to have a midfield of Scholes, Keane, Carrick, Fletcher, Butt, Park - now we have Static Matic, Herrera and I think Lingard, lord knows what formation that first half was. It still hurts losing to Liverpool but there was a part of me relieved it was only by 2 goals today. On a different day, they could have put 4-5 past us and it wouldn’t have been unjustified. |

yesterday is the first time I've been angry in some time. Can't even recall last time I was really bothered. which is disappointing.
and even yesterday it was a fraction of what it normally is against them. it doesn't even feel like the same club. From top to bottom it has been compromised by non-united personalities. |

I used to get genuinely nervous before an Anfield game. Thinking about it for days. Heart racing as the game kicked off. The elation of any goal scored there and the sinking feeling of any conceded was unmatched. I shrugged at every goal yesterday. |

I'm mainly at the disbelief and gallows humour stage. I skipped clinical depression as I'd prepared myself for this scenario as soon as Mourinho got the job tbh, it was always going to be shite and blow up in our face. |
