Well at least he won't be "holding us back" now.

I await the avalanche of goals like when he was suspended.

tbf, he's been shite for a few games.

Obviously a loss but we'll see how we cope.

He was a disgrace last night. Clearly overplayed.

He'll be off in the summer anyway.

Cheers Zlat. It was brief.

Obviously a big blow and really disappointing for Zlatan that he could miss his first European final in his own stadium

Anyway cometh the hour cometh the boy wonder

we all know the script now - rashford gets injured at burnley, martial runs into a door at home, and we end up with rooney off fellaini up front

It's a huge blow for us

Without him we'd be worse off this season so I don't understand the hate

this is true.

but it's also true that without him - or at least with a fair bit less of him - what we saw at home to chelsea up front may have been seen a lot more ...

No hate but I'd be excited to see rashford there instead.
Zlat is great (sometimes), but I've been surprised his hold up play is so shite.

no way of knowing that for certain.
We're about on par with all our post-Fergie League positions.

Why are people using a one-off game against one of the only teams to play 3 at the back and push high up the pitch against us as evidence that we'll be better?

Every other team will stack their defence and sit deep. No point in having 2 lightweight runners up top when there's no space to run into.

Anyway, it's all academic now. The responsibility for the entire club's goalscoring now falls to an inexperienced kid. No pressure, Marcus.
