The annoying thing, for us anyway, is that Alladyce will see that as a match they probably wouldn't win therefore it would be wise not to risk his injured players and make sure they're fit for the games he thinks he has a better chance of picking up points with.

I think Steve Coppell did a similar thing against us.

Possible but they're pushing for Europe so who knows?

I read earlier that Sam is concentrating on the other two fixtures as he sees them as more realistic prospects for points. kind of works against us but I don't expect Bolton to take any points from Chelsea anyway.

Spurs dropped half their side for the Chelsea game, Newcastle were missing Given, Parker, Duff and Owen, Arsenal will be missing Henry and Van Persie.

Bolton will be missing half a team.


It just remains to be seen how many we have out when we play them...
