Default What

a top man - really - and sad to see him go.

His life story was amazing and he always seemed a true, true gentleman.

RIP Bert. I wish our players had a quarter of your character.

Fair to say his signing for city wasn't exactly well recieved by many of their fans so soon after the war - it took the local rabbi to help smooth things over IIRC.

When anyone dies, Lee normally sends me(and possibly quite a few others) a text sayin "(insert name) topred. Rip. Xxx". As Bert was a footballer held in high regard by many, he was a topred.
