Talking I think Evra (and Henzie) are in for a shock...

Quote:
“Gaby has been playing well for Marseille and I’m pleased for him because it wasn’t easy at first with him being a former Paris Saint-Germain player – PSG have a big rivalry with Marseille. I think he’ll get a big ovation when he comes back to Old Trafford because he played so well for United. I’m happy to see him doing well, but I don’t want him to win against his old team!” - Evra
I’ve always got the feeling Henzie has no idea how reviled he is after his antics in 2007. Still has a lot of nice things to say about United and Fergie, but he’s in for some real abuse if he plays in the 2nd leg

Quote:
"I don't have many regrets from my career as a footballer, but that episode with Ferguson [has] to be one of them. I'm impulsive and strong-willed and this has got me into trouble at times, which was the case at the time when I left United. On reflection, it is easy to see that Ferguson was a major influence on my career, in a positive way. I thought my mind was set to be a winner before moving to United, but I had only completed part of the journey Sir Alex makes every player he comes into contact with so much more driven and committed. He demands that his players dig as deep for the cause and I'm sorry that we fell out in the final days because I still have so much respect for him."

"I cannot wait for the chance to go back onto the pitch at Old Trafford because this is the most special club of all, and I include Real Madrid in this list. United is a club built on success. It has heritage, legends and trophies, but for me Old Trafford is also a very human and warm place." - Gabriel Heinze

I remember the anger in your posts every time he got a game ahead of Evra

When he signed he was exactly what we needed imo, but he was pretty average after his injury and a poor second to Mad Pat, once he’d got acclimatised to English football.

Trying to join the rats was unforgivable.

Yeah, but how embarrassing would it be for Heinze? Far worse than getting megged by O'Shea for instance.

Heinze will just drop him asap with a patented elbow and obers will hide for the rest of the game.

Milan (h) and Milan (a) were £#%&!ing bad, but I had long since given up on him, they were just the icing on the cake. I can't even remember now, I think I have blanked him out, but Middlesbrough away and a £#%&!ing shite defensive header rings a bell. I always admired his industry and his willingness to tackle, but I decided pretty early on in his career that he wasn't actually very good. I was chuffed to bits when Evra signed, and my only lingering concern was that the useless lump Heinze might be kept on ahead of O'Shea or Silvester and maybe played at CB worried the bejesus out of me did that.

I always wanted us to sell him to the rats, that would've been £#%&!ing ace. He is £#%&!ing shit, it's easy to see why Benitez wanted him. The principle of actually selling him to the rats I just couldn't get passed.

How the £#%&! we ever got £10m for that @#%&! I'll never know.
