The one that got me was, a few days after Eric's retirement (that was bad enough),the headline on Teletext (b4 this internet malarkey and sky sports news yellow ticker for 24 hours) that we'd signed Sheringham (who i really hated and thought vastly overrated at the time) as his replacement.

Was in shock reading the headline alone for 5 mins not daring to read the full story in-case it was true.
