The Berbs creates so much through the middle. Made a noticeable difference when he came on against the Turks midweek. He needs to be given a really solid run of games instead of the permanent rotation...

really REALLY important that we bring their momentum and air of general giddiness crashing to a halt in emphatic style.

Yeah, sure, they're on the upward spiral, but a heavy defeat to us will start sowing seeds of doubt.. then the discontent builds then all the other pressures facing them starts and the reality sets in.

We could do with doing the same to Liverpool aswell.

Chelsea will be there to the end, Arsenal will go through their usual poor patches followed by champagne football and really their results to us early on aren't the be all and end all.

I'm still convinced that if we'd beaten Liverpool at Anfield early last season they'd never have mustered tha challenge they did.

This is a £30m forward. Darren Bent and Defoe have outscored him handsomely in weaker teams.

Berbatov owes United something on Sunday, you can't only rely on Rooney + we don't know yet if the midfield will be a consistent source of goals(they've started well for sure).

without scholes berbatov and giggs will be crucial to our ability to retain possession. i just hope he doesn't drop too deep.

Our top 3 players this season have been Rooney, Fletcher and Berbatov so for me them 3 should automatically be in the starting 11.

And Evra is more undroppable than both Berbatov and Fletcher.

he's clearly not undroppable, he's not played every game. he has been outstanding in our best 2 performances of the season, which is why to me he must start with Rooney on Sunday.
