we should never have sold him. people used to knock him like £#%&! and put his games against veira as flukes. he was a £#%&!ing good midfielder and far better than the shit we signed immediately after. great bit of business by the work shy.

What a great game that was. Definitely one I'll always remember.

Nothing like an epic United comeback to make it damn clear that we're going to win the league.

and exactly the same weekend 2 years later - half-time Utd 0 - Spurs 2.

Very similar - even down to the fortunate first goal to get us going.

Yep. I wasn't even that worried at half time v Spurs. It was all set up for a classic United comeback.

Great comeback.

i'll never forget martin tyler's almost suicidal reaction to the goal. The only thing missing from it was a huge groan.

I watched the Ronaldo v Fulham winner from 07 on youtube last night. Tyler is absolutely gutted.

Agree, though Fletch is an admirable replacement in the 'unsung, play where I'm told and do a job whilst being slagged by people who don't have a clue' role.
