There was a whistle( or a scream) though, if you listen carefully it's at the same time as the horn.

Howard Webb is a attention seeking @#%&!, no other reason. Any ref with common sense would have seen Ronaldo wasn't gaining an advantage.

If he was protecting his face it isn't a yellow card. It's an indirect free-kick to Citeh.
