Akinfeev got lobbed, straight on, from about 35 yards against Rubin. Never got anywhere near it. Poor decision to come out and too short to make himself look big

I doubt we'll move for either anyway, I reckon one of the Germans might get the nod.

i think we'll stick with what we've got and get a cheap import to replace Krusty.

Yes I also expect a cheap goalie. Please not the russian anyway, he doesn't look anything special.

According to borusk's post above, rumour is we have a 24 year old German on trial, so we might both be right

Should be Foster to go and not Krusty though, imo. Far too many physical flaws in Foster's game.

I hope both go personally. Just not good enough. I think the goalkeeper crisis even runs down through the academy. Zeiler, heaton are poor and amos is average.

the 16 year old Johnstone or a name that ends with a stone is rumoured to be very good for his level.

Tbf to Akinfeev, It was a great finish, he had no chance. Never looks good for a keeper to get lobbed though. I only mentioned it to see if you'd react
