It's just a good goal. If someone was on the back post and left their position then they can take some blame, but Ferdinand's position is okay.

The excellent flick-on makes the goal, really.

Even if he had been further back when the kick was taken, he would have quite rightly come forward because it was played short of the near post. Nothing whatsoever any keeper could do about that goal.

Sorry i can't give credit for that goal, there is no £#%&!ing way he should be getting a header in with absolutely no @#%&! anywhere near him.

It was poor and we were poor all throughout the game, everytime a ball came in.

Failing to intercept the flick-on is the real problem.

You can't expect Rio to react to that. It's a well-worked routine.

Schmikes would have saved it. (in his prime)

Only if he had been woefully out of position.

It is poor defending and organisation as a whole. Shit defending.

Note also Doyle's clever movement.

Drags Solskjaer out of position and leaves space for Kitson to run in to.

Reading, set piece wise, are excellent. Coppell has them well drilled and organised.

They have actually used that same routine a lot this season and have been successful in doing so.

You could argue that our management and players could have found a better way to combat it, but Coppell deserves a lot of credit.

Watch it again, after the flick on he moves slightly to his left, even though there was a player on the line. if he had looked to the right and seen an unmarked man he could of shuffled right and possibly saved. this one comes down to poor marking and poor goalkeeping

The video does make Rio look bad, but as had been said, the flick-on should have been dealt with. Fletcher's attempt at attacking the ball is embarassing. Not the first time either this season, he made a similar ballet move when trying to block one of Newcastle's goals in the drawn game. For a player so lacking in technique you'd think he'd make up for it with a bit of commitment, but incidents like this just show he hasn't even got that in him.

So, had he turned his head and looked away from a ball streaking into his penalty box...

I'm aware you're on a wum...I just worry there might be some who take you seriously.
