I don't think it's the most outlandish of ideas - Messi is going to PSG so they now have far too many attacking players at that end of the pitch & they can easily placate their fans with replacing one for the other.

They'll lose Mbappe for nothing next summer if they don't cash in, that was a player they dropped £160m+ on before, adding Messi & Pogba in the side & only losing Mbappe seems like everyone wins.

Real can't afford to pay Mbappe's wages either surely, they must be desperate for him to stay & move for free next year.

Mbappe wants to play for Real Madrid. He can go there in a year for free.

Why would he agree to come to United, rather than just wait out his contract?

Real are on a downward curve right now, same with Barca, their financial issues are absolutely crippling them & they can't build a squad to compete.

Mbappe might well want to play for them, but if they have a team of decent players & him it's not going to win them the big trophies. Varane jumping ship, Messi jumping ship... there's a lot to unpack from their situation in Spain right now.

He can play for us for 4-5 seasons & still go there later when it's all sorted out as well tbh. He's just a kid still.

They appear to get away with murder with FFP, so not convinced they will even care The push is on for them to win the CL more than ever this coming season.

Hakimi, Pereira, Wijnaldum, Ramos and Donnrumma is some serious business.

Add Messi to that and it is a ridiculous summer of recruiting.

There are more world class stars in the PSG squad alone than in the whole of La Liga nowadays I'd say

Not him, Danilo Pereira. Portuguese lad, wears Danilo on his shirt.

And, just like city, they still can't win the CL

As long as they avoid each other in the knock outs, I’d be surprised if it’s not a city PSG final this year.

He's shite tbf.

PSG being overblown apu.

They'll go through the motions week in, week out in Ligue Un, turn out decent performances when it actually matters and get out-run and out worked at the critical point of the CL. If the league isn't competitive, they'll slip into complacency and get beat. Messi or no Messi.

We should sting them for Mbappe. We're on the up.
