Disappointed we didn't get him. Could've sent them Smalling in part-ex and thrown in Jones for spare parts.

Keane has done nothing in his career to date to suggest that he is as good as either of them let alone better.

Yeah i'm gutted we didn't beat Everton to the signing of a Burnley centre back.

Agreed.

Looked nowhere near as good as Jones did at Blackburn.

Ok in a relegation-threatened Burnley side. And only ok. Not the standard we should be looking for.

Good luck to the lad, but I've seen nothing from him to suggest he's anywhere near good enough for us.
