I thought Hernanes was a Carrick / Pirlo / Veron type that sits in front of the back 4 & dictates the passing?

Not necassarily, he can play wide or off a striker, or as an attacking central midfielder as i understand it.

Can play anywhere in midfield and also does a good job as a link-up man. I've seen him play a few times and he's clearly very good. Not sure he's what we need though. I'd much rather us sign a De Rossi type.

You mean De Rossi then? Can't think of another of that type around today. Don't think there's any chance of him leaving Roma.

I wrote a 'De Rossi type' because it's obvious that he doesn't want to leave Roma. There must be a similar player out there somewhere.

Looking around there seems to be an equal amount of stories linking us to Silva as there are Villa. I have a feeling they all think they're talking about the same player So who are we being linked with..Villa or Silva...you decide.
