see, i'd have avoided putting him in against hull. very physical side, lots of high diagonal balls trying to get a big lad jumping against a small full-back (like their second goal where they got evra that way). just the wrong sort of game for rafael imo. celtic would be fine - mcwhateveritis would try to run at him and that's not a worry. teams that use a long ball to exploit him getting forward, or to dominate him physically would be more problematic.

i'd be happy to see rafael play against arsenal as well, especially if they have nasri or walcott on the left.

It can't be anyone but O'Shea?

Perhaps I should rephrase that - I wish it were anyone but O'Shea but chances are it'll be him, won't it.

I'm still not over that "performance" from right back last year at Derby.

Brown would have been ideal against McGeady, who is as weak as I've seen an adult footballer.

Foster, Rafael in by the sounds of things...

'tis the future.

Hope we go up there & tear them a new one.

it wasn't a crisis until Ferguson made it one by inexplicably dropping Wes Brown for several weeks. Consequently his confidence has taken a battering and his match sharpness has totally deserted him.

Obviously Fergie was hoping Gary Neville would just slot back in and all would be right again, but it looks as if Neville's days are all but numbered in the shirt now.

So now we have to turn to a young, lightweight rookie brazilian kid to be thrown into the bear pit, as it were, tomorrow. Sink or swim time.

O'Shea should be right back with Evans in the middle beside Ferdinand and Evra at left back

if the @#%&!s try and attack us we will slice them on the counter attack

about time Foster got his chance VDS has been £#%&! this season

Would be good to see that but I reckon Giggs will be starting next to Carrick.

Yes it does. I've just had a call off a guy who knows a bloke who used to read the Daily Mirror and apparently tomorrows paper has the MUFC badge on the back with a giant crack running through it. Its panic stations at OT.
