Cheap-ish way of doing the Moscow final
The flights are ridiculous now for Manchester - Moscow, and the hotels even more so.
So I've been looking at this for a trip. Out on the Tuesday Morning Manchester to St Petersburg. Book the cheapest hotel in St Petersburg just to get your Visa, get your head down for a couple of hours if you want. Get the overnight train from St Petersburg to Moscow, and go back to St Petersburg on the Thursday. Total costs. Flight Manchester to St Petersburg 270 quid return Train St Petersburg - Moscow 100 USD return for a sleeper cabin Hotel in St Petersburg - 40 quid for a decent place Total for the trip 360 quid plus you get to see St Petersburg which is a beautiful city Anyone else with any other cheap options ?? Hope this is of some use to someone. |
