Default The Pitch

Whats happened this year that's different ? Has there been any rugby matches or gigs there recently? Or is it just the Manc weather....

It looked bloody awful.

Looked **** on Sunday but I thought I looked alright last night. Weather's been all over the shop recently too.

I blame Thatcher and the rugby muppets and Glazer and Edwards and Gordon the Gopher and Wayne's Ears and the whites and the blacks.

Normal for this time of year, isn't it? Looked about the same vs Roma last year (just watched those hilights). Of course, they didn't try to use it as an excuse, as Wenger did.

tbh I thought it looked worse today than at any time last year..
I'm just worried that at some point it will bite us on the backside.
We play football others don't.Didn't we relay the pitch at some point a few years back?

The pitch is shite, and yes it is worse than last year, if it gets much worse then yes it likely will f*** us over at some point. In the past ferguson has not been happy when the pitch is in such a state, you're right, we play football other dont.

I heard they might play the world cup in africa with that artificial stuff on every single pitch, could be a sign of the future. I actually like the new fake grass, i know it's not totally like real grass but its pretty close now and it removed the opportunity that sometimes happens where a club will f*** up the pitch on purpose to try to spoil a superior passing teams game.

that pitch has been down about 6 years now I heard the other night. It didn't used to last a season at one point
