Default Roy Keane - overseas games are great idea

It may £#%&! the fans off and cost them a fortune but the clubs will make £5M each, probably resulting in nice bonuses for players and dare I say, managers.

Seeing as no one in their right mind would fly Sunderland across the world in the name of entertainment, he's probably worked out that it's to his advantage.
Or he's been given a golden prawn sandwich.

Just mentioned this on another thread.
Very dissapointed in Keane.

Only a @#%&! would think this is a good idea.

It's arrogant, crude, money-grabbing, disloyal & patronising.
It doesn't have a single redeeming feature.
Everyone involved in this debacle should be £#%&!ing shot.

They are pimping that club for every penny. It's a £#%&!ing hole yet has a tourist economy now.

Anyone noticed less paddies at OT recently? That's where they've been going.

None - it's a day away, few drinks, an event - an irish styled one at that. All post jack charlton football people.

"It's great. Change is good but that depends who you are playing in that extra game. If it's one of the top four, I might argue."

yeah right Keano, you're gonna be made up to be playing Wigan or Fulham in outer mongolia

Fortunetly most of these people have turned to the rugby bandwagon in my opinion. Anything for a bit of craic, sure it'll be grand etc. etc.

Default Very carefully choreographed with

professional ‘lovely bloke’ Niall Quinn’s comments of yesterday.

All part of the Sunderland boards project to them into Paddywackery AFC.

I pity the poor mackems and the rest of us for that matter.

Football is dead - we just don't want to believe it.

Default To be fair

I thought what the £#%&!. He's obviously not thought through the fact that t will open the floodgates and more and more games will played overseas.

He's thinking it's a nothing, end of season money spinner, not an actual premier league match, something like the tournament Liverpool, West Ham and a couple of others played in the Far East last year.

Im sure with the full facts at his backing, he wouldnt be so eager....hopefully.

I thought we all knew that?

Ireland would be a mainstay especially for smaller clubs. Sunderland v Wigan would get 40/50k over here.
