One thing that I think is vital is that whoever owns the club HAS to recognise the need to promote youth from within the academy teams. I don't think the first team squad needs a whole lot done to it, in order to compete. 2 or 3 decent signings in the summer, with a few faces out the door and we'll be reet short term. A bigger investment in the best scouts, coaches, facilities and the next wave of talent, both locally and from wherever in the world, is just as important as looking for a quick win.
