My last pint was in The Hilary Step. Fringes of Whalley Range/Chorlton so lots of girls smoking rollies and lads wearing hats indoors but very nice imho. Bits of Everest memorabilia on the walls. Chilli peanuts on the bar.

Used to be the Plough in Ashton on Mersey but since moving last year...

Horse and Farrier, Gatley.

Hydes house which means the bitter is shite. Guinness is good though, currently 3.67 a pint.

Used to show 3PM's before the crackdown.

Full of blue bastards.

not bad the kings arms, I'd agree with that rating.

Edit: Wilmslow w****rs

There's a few okish ones that side of chesh-shire. The mounting stone in Bramhall, and Chiverton Tap in cheadle hulme (same owners) are very good. Not 'classic' boozers, but very straightforward places with a great selection of beers, ales etc. Dissapointing on the spirits front but then that's not their market.
