Default Michael Fallon quits

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-41838682

Quote:
Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon has resigned following allegations of past behaviour, the BBC has been told.

He said his behaviour in the past may have "fallen short" of the standards expected by the UK military.

The BBC understands that his decision was not related to any new or specific claims.

He said it was right that the prime minister and Parliament were now taking this issue seriously.

Question

So he decided to ‘fall on’ his sword then for, errr, wanting a lady to ‘fall on’ to his sword.

Is this because he touched someone’s knee 15 years ago?

If so,

If because of something more serious, lock him up and throw away the key

In a word, no. Its not exactly a state secret that his "reputation" in this regard goes back decades.

The military are expected to kill people.

Imagine falling short of those standards of decency

May lavishing praise on Fallon in her reply to his resignation letter. She really is so tone deaf on everything.
