Default How many players needed

Assuming Mourinho will play his preferred 4-2-3-1, I think we need 6 players for a strong 22.

de gea

New RB Smalling New CB Shaw

New CM Schneiderlen

New RW New AM Martial

New CF

----------------------------------------------

Romero

Valencia Jones TFM Bo-Jack

Herrera Blind

Jessie Mata Memphis

Rashford

Realistically can't see that many signings which means some of Darmian, Rojo, Carrick, Schweinsteiger, Fellaini, Young, J****aj and Rooney wil still be involved in the club.

Carrick and Schweinsteiger can probably still play a part and J****aj could still turn it around, Rooney will probably still be here due as much to do with not being able to shift him.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Jose get something out of at least two of Schneiderlin, Darmian and Depay. All signed with good reputations, all should do better in their second season.

You forgot TFM too.

Darmian is Mou's type of player but I can't see him having the personality to play for him. He does so many little things that demonstrate that he's f***ing terrified playing for United. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Rojo surprised a few people and earned a bit of Mou love.

You have to remember that Van Gaal is Mou's biggest influence and there will be parallels in terms of what they expect. Of course Mou loves sending players home with DVDs. Anyone who doesn't want some homework can expect not to last long.

Herrera and Schneiderlin so spineless I hope they're sold on general principle.

Unless Mourinho can do wonders with weak characters, we surely can't expect the likes of Schneiderlin to survive two transfer windows. So much to prove.

One of the biggest disappointments of Van Gaal's tenure has been the pussyfication of key positions thanks to Darmian and co.

Edit: what Siders said.

Three top class players through the spine & the side is transformed.

Far easier said than done though.
