What a player Coppell was, I think Gordon Hill stirred my footballing soul more as a kid tbh, but someone of Coppell's ability would be worth a fortune in this day and age. |

Only a handful of the great Ajax team of the early 70s left there by then, but it still felt fucking immense

To any of you young guns on here, you have absolutely no idea of how special it was to follow United in the 70s.
Taking 10-15,000 away, sometimes more , it really was a special time to be a Red.Cue, boring old fart alert
