Default can anyone Recommend a really nice restaurant in Manchester

Town centre

Ive heard good things about the northern quarter but never dined anywhere there.

tend to eat most things , willing to try different stuff.

Anywhere good?

The Northern Quarter is very good.

Impressing a bird?

Go for Lounge 10 or San Carlo

Tevez is right to an extent. Restaurant wise Manchester b***h slaps well below it's weight really.

I think British cities are generally poor with the exception of London, they seem to survive only doing things to a certain level as there is always going to be the population to support them. You need to leave the cities to find the best restaurants.

This is of no help but I feel I have added something to the table

There is only so many ways you can have chips tbh.

There's 6 ways. I used to have the list but I cannot find it anymore. I know frites mignon are the 2nd thinnest

Steak - grill on the alley or gaucho

Tapas - el rincon

Italian - Rosso or san carlo

Chinese - mandarin

Indian - east z east

American BBQ - southern 11

Japanese - samsi on whitworth st not the one at spinningfields!

Cheap and cheerful - browns or panama hattys!!
