And he just generally feels more comfortable there.

Rooney's goal at wembley was a thing of beauty - great move, great finish.

My Top 3.

1) Gibson away at West Ham - 'retro' strike of the ball ala' Bobby Charlton. Great move...a real 'get the £#%&! in' strike.

2) Wazza away at Arsenal - textbook counter attacking football. Great finish by Wayne & perfect pass by Nani.

3) Scholesy away at City - Last minute of stoppage time, awkward header...put power, pace & accuracy into the header...right in the corner.


I'm sure I've forgotten a pretty obvious one (Nani last Saturday for example) ..but they're the 3 that instantly come to mind.

Owen's 96th minute winner against City, just for the sheer run-around-the-pub joy of it.

That's the one I'll remember from this season.

There's been some great goals this season, most the top ones mentioned already. The one that sticks out for me, in fact one I will always remember, was Nani's against Arsenal back in Jan. Sure the finish was one of those cross come shots as they say, and it may have gone down as an OG by some, but £#%&! me, he made if from nothing. The bit of skill on the touchline was something very few players in the world could ever do:

I really liked Rooney's away at Spurs. Fletcher's ball was Effenberg-esque and the way Wazza spun away from two defenders was top class.

think the ones you see with your own eyes are always my faves..

so for that rooney v arsenal, was what united are all about, lightning counter attack, efficient and pure class.

the san siro headers were special too, the fact we'd never won there as well.

i'm sure if i'd been at the home derby or city away the owen goal and the scholes header would be right up there for sheer goingmentalness.
