Thumbs up FC United > England, this Wednesday

Right lads and lasses.

This Wednesday sees FC United at home to Whitby Town. After a run of three straight wins FC lost at Kendal on Saturday, so will be very keen to get back to winning ways against a team we beat 3-1 last season and who are 5 places below us.

%@#$&!s to boring old England - get down to Gigg Lane for some live action.

The last Wednesday night fixture saw a superb attendance of 1,884, giving a cracking atmosphere, so let's try and beat that. Whether or not you've been before come along and bring your mates.

FC were unlucky to lose at league leaders Kendall on Saturday 1-0. A draw would have been a fair result. It was a very tasty game with tackles flying in left, right and centre.

More of the same effort on Wednesday but with an end product hopefully.

There'll be a darn sight better atmosphere at Gigg Lane than Wembley that's for sure.

I thought I was English but I've recently found out that my great great great grandad came over from Ireland in the early 1800's. So you could be right if we all go back far enough.

Now where's me pint of Guiness.
