The Return of JC

Default Chester drafted into squad. Tevez and Evans 'major doubts'

“We limped over the line on Wednesday night, when we picked up quite a few injuries. At this time I couldn’t tell you what my side is going to be. We’ve got fitness tests on two players, possibly three, on Saturday morning. [Carlos] Tevez and [Jonny] Evans are major doubts. They will have a fitness test at 10am. There are one or two others that are doubtful. I've brought James Chester into the squad. Although he hasn't played in the first team, he is still a capable young player. If it has to be, then it has to be. That’s why we have a big squad. But with Wes, Rio and Patrice all out, it would be a major blow if Evans isn't available, particularly because of the form he has been in".

Indeed.

I'd take Tevez being out right now if Evans makes it.

We can work around Tevez being out, but I see very few alternative to Evans being out other than a very short Neville playing CB against a very tall Bolton.

Given the circumstances and the tough time they always give us, tomorrow is another big challenge.

Shhhhhh, you're gonna upset vio. I agree to be fair, push Ronnie up and play Giggs or Nani.

Don't think Bolton are anything like the side they were under Fat Sam, Davies is one of the few who still puts it about. They've got a fair few missing as well. Can see them lining up as they did against Arsenal - very defensive. Will be a very long afternoon I suspect.

One or two who will almost certainly start need to pull their £#%&!ing thumbs out and deliver a decent performance.

I'm not sure what scares the shit out of me more, O'Shea or Neville at centre back...

I suspect Gary will play there, Rafael drafted in to RB, O'Shea continues on the left, we all clasp our hands together & hope Vidic continues to play like a beast.
