Default Is Rooney back?

once he got the goal he looked like a different player. His second confirmed it.

He's shit and it's all his fault that we're only 6 points ahead.

he's been a shadow of his former self all season, looked fatigued from the wc, and his touch had been leaden. It all seemed to change with the goal. Also he wasn't as moany to the officials as usual.

you're an idiot if you think Rooney's form has been good so far this season.

I don't think he's been good all season, but saying he's been a shadow of his former self all season is going over the top too. As well as the games mentioned there, he was brilliant against City, Fulham and Wigan too.

you're the idiot if you think he's been poor this season

even when he's supposedly been shit ie against Villa in the Cup he still made both goals

he's not been as good as Ronaldo or Scholes but who has and overall he's been excellent

you not get to many games then

exactly Ether plus other games

He's one booking away from missing Spurs. nNed to pick his 5th booking carefully.

The promising thing about his Portsmouth cameo was his touch. It has been awful at times this season, but it was a lot better, maybe to do with confidence and the weight of not scoring being lifted.

By his standards he has been below par this season.

Nah he'll miss our next game after spurs due to the delay of a week.

Let's see what he does against Spurs on Sunday, they have Ricardo Rocha who completely shut Rooney out against Benfica especially in the game @ OT.

Oh and there's also the small matter of Ledley King to get past, if he's fit.

Wayne Rooney has earned a tremendous amount of respect from me for the way he handled his dip in form. Faced with the option to 'take a rest' he decided instead to do extra training and work harder.

Top man. Looks like playing with Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, the best professionals in the game has taught him something.

He hasn't got the 5th booking yet. He could do with getting it at Spurs.
