Waxing lyrical about my love?

Hardly high praise is it? How dare I point out that an England international and last season's player of the season is reasonably good! Minus 10 top red points and award them to the shoot crew.

or what about the week after if stylian petrov sprays a few passes about?

it was one £#%&!ing game, he's a nice little footballer but far past his best and wouldnt be that useful to us

Really, maybe I watched a different Manchester United game to you, one where Carrick made one long through ball to a player offside, made one decent forward run and spent the rest of the game lurking between the centre circle and his own box passing sideways or backwards and not making tackles.

You see what you want to see I suppose

I've not spoken to anyone who didn't think Carrick was excellent.

Carrick looks like he's reincarnated as Zidane or something along those lines, he seems suited to europe with european sides allowing you slightly longer on the ball. Don't worry, we can verbally slaughter the bastard when he next has a shit game in the league.

Really? Carrick by the low standards he's set himself in the past did do a little better than usual, he had a little bit of time when he was deep and so managed to get the ball out in his own time rather when he is being pressed but to call that display excellent is nothing short of a joke. Not as shit as usual is about as high a praise should be mustered.

Used to love Aimar on Pro Evo a few years ago.

Therefore, get him signed.

I'd have said good. Not "excellent" but not "not as shit as usual but still shit" either.

Its never really been SAF's way, but if weve no serious cash to address it then we should be looking at cheaper players in their 30's.
