Thumbs up Hodgson>Mourinho

Lets hope Fergie has at least 5 more years in him yet but if as expected he retires in the next year or two, I think I would prefare Hodgson at O.T.
Get him in for a season or two to keep the ship running smoothly, have Ole as his assistant and then promote Ole when he's got a bit more experience. Just think there would be no bull shit, no ego, no media circus and Hodgson teams tend to play football more like the 'United' way.

Watcha reckon? Am I deluded?

At first I thought - he is deluded.

Then, having read it all, ain't such a bad idea.

Never gonna happen, though.

I like Hodgson, he's one of the only people in football I like listening to these days, he's knowledgeable and says interesting things and seems like a nice guy, but I'm not sure he would be right for United.

Sorry. I'll not say anything.

I do like Hodgson mind, seems a decent fella and he's done a superb job at Fulham, playing the right way.

Yep, great appointment by Fulham when you look at it. People would have been raising eyebrows when they got him but he's done a great job. Be interesting to see what Hodgson would do with more money?

hodgson's record is very very good virtually everywhere he has been. unfortunately he's remembered for his failure with blackburn rather than his successes everywhere else.

He has been good wherever he has been, hasn't neccessarily won a great deal though but at clubs like Fulham, nations like Switzerland and Finland, he has definitely improved them a great deal. All of his league titles/cups have come in Sweden and Denmark,
