Proper gangsters.

Are there not contracted payment dates? Or have they let such dates pass and not paying?

Dunno, but it feels like they bought and sold Malcolm about 4-5 seasons back? We were linked with him at the time IIRC. Got their money from Zenit and just didn’t pay Bordeaux you’d think and scheduled payments would be in line with the original contract, which must be up by now

Err yeah.

Who've Arsenal signed? Have they signed a new manager?

Yes, good point. No idea who Malcolm is, so no idea they’d already sold him.

Laporte saying Frenkie wants to stay, but that Barca have decided they have a new wage structure, so Frenkie has to ‘do a lot’ to make his stay viable

The absolute £#%&!ing front on them. Chucking millions about and telling players that they have to fund it via wage cuts and foregoing owed monies. Scandalous. For £17m, Frenkie owns half of Lewandowski

The daft @#%&! will probably do it too.

Just move on and sign someone else. Boring as £#%&! now.

If he signs, it's going to be a damp squib and all we are going to hear is "He doesn't want to be there, he's there for the money bla bla".

Well statistically a "step down" is correct.

In the last 9 years (since Alex Ferguson) has stepped down....

Manchester United has made it into the Champions League about 40% of the time with no Premier League title.

Barcelona has made it into the Champions League 100% of the time with 4 La Liga league titles.

(I think Tottenham currently have a better record of getting into the Champions League?)

You can only live off of past glories and stink on the field for so long before top players start refusing to join your club because they think it will be a wasted career with limited trophies.
