Oh and just to beat Rooney with a stick for a sec, can you really imagine the likes of Milan, Barca or Madrid thinking "That Rooney looks like the proper cosmopolitan sort, he'll settle in our culture no bother"

I don't £#%&!ing think so somehow.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, might not have so much trouble. Oh and he's the best player in the world.
