Yes. Sharpe better than Giggs is laughable. Good player, lovely crosser of the ball on the run, but once he lost a yard of pace he had very little to hurt teams with. A fairly simple game compared to Giggs.

Now if you want to wum, this one might just be possible to pull off. It is the same way you could make a point that Valencia is a better winger than Nani but still believe that Nani is by a distance the better player.

I put these " round winger to highlight my point that at his best Sharpe was a better "winger" than Giggs. There isn't a "footballer" to have ever played the game that is better than Giggs. It is also unlikely that there ever will be.
