I think it was poorly handled by him and the staff.

Viduka ran past Rio. In my experience, whenever youre under the cosh and crosses are coming in from the wings, the central defender closest the side the cross is coming from should plant himself about level with the front post....maybe a yard or so outside it.

Ferdinand was about 10 yards out of it

he was certainly more culpable than rio, that's for sure. i personally blame brown for not getting goal-side of viduka. oh yeah, and fc.
