Not off the top of my head. But LOTS of teams have lost their first choice keeper. Would you want to be playing in that situation without a goalkeeper on the bench?

Isn't it in the rules that you have to name three keepers?. I've a feeling that the squad size was upped to 23 men but you have to name three keepers.

It's not my job tbf. I think Cappello gets paid enough, he should pick the squad himself.

Worth the risk of forever being remembered as the manager who had to play Rio Ferdinand in goal in a World Cup knockout match?

I'd agree with the people including Lescott and Brown as back-up central defenders on the basis that they'd also cover the full-back positions. Barry could also cover left-back in an emergency and Hargreaves, if fit, could do the same on the right. I'd be good to take at least three or four from Lennon, Young, Walcott, SWP and Milner.

That was in 1990. Presumably you didn't have to include 3 keepers then, because Colombia didn't either.
