They need points docked or a transfer ban - it's the only thing that'll effect them. They are absolutely 100% above the law and they know it they aren't even being subtle about the shit they're doing. just hoovering up 100 million quid players and telling everyone they're top of the money league in a pandemic, like nobody's going to smell a £#%&!ing rat. |

Maybe the Haaland deal will be looked into on the basis of they need to increase revenue to satisfy FFP rules to buy him - funny how all the other clubs lost £50m+ in revenue some more than £80m during the pandemic as you would expect with match day revenue yet the Bitters made an extra £100m in a period when stadiums were closed

Cannot wait for haaland to turn up and they announce he signed for 13 million and earns 80k a week . When mancini was out for his secret payments thats when the book should have been thrown at them the @#%&!s . This premier league investigation 3 plus years and hearings behind closed doors ffs .

They'll get a slap on the wrist in the foreseeable future. Probably a very heavily negotiated transfer ban for 6 months/a year, that'll come into effect at a time when they don't need to make any signings.
Even if there was the will to do so, there's no governing body in sport that would be willing to take them on head to head in the courts over and over again, because they'll rinse them dry before anything gets decided. So once they've been punished once, I wouldn't put any money on them being punished again. Wouldn't be surprised to see further changes to FFP in the future to make it easier for clubs like City and PSG to circumnavigate the rules in the coming years. And with my tin hat on, I don't believe there's any will whatsoever to take them on, I honestly believe that any and all football governing bodies, Football broadcasters and media outlets will be benifitting handsomely from City and PSG's ownership. |

UEFA/Premier League have a huge problem with City/PSG but are clearly worried about litigation after the last fiasco. Pressure will build least not from all those big clubs who generate their own income and aren't winning. The mood against the ESL has put good governance back on the agenda and if the authorities don't act the ESL is still there in the background...
Pushing yourself into no 1 slot indicates their feeling of being untouchable post CAS but it really isn't that sensible as it will further strengthen the opposition. I can't see the German papers giving up. At some point new information will leak out and may force the hand of the authorities. Big clubs can come a cropper Rangers for one but remember Juventus over the corruption scandal. |
