I'm excellent at giving gifts. Never get the same in return but that's not why I do it. Whether its thoughtful little things or a pair of red sole shoes. Im your man

One Christmas I bought 14 presents and received just 2 back, I never recovered from it and I vowed never to do it again. I know you dont give presents to receive but you cant lie with those stats.

I like giving presents. would rather not receive them. always a shock to receive anything worthwhile. you really have to shout at people not to buy off list. very few properly thoughtful givers.

An age old custom.

Imo a man should be the giver, never the wanter

But whatever.

What are your gift giving skills like?

Are you a coupon man?
or do you put some thought into it?
are you romantic with your gifts for your SO?
Have you ever made a gift (as an adult)?

Yes, no, no, no for me. I'm hopeless.

Literally don't do presents, aside from weddings if we're part of the day crew.

Horrific practice. What's with the mumsnet thread? It's even got mumsnet acronyms ffs.

Like a miner's helmet? great idea for a gift. You don't even need to turn on the lights when you need a middle of the night piss.
