Composed on and off the ball

Keeps its simple most of the time but doing the simple things really well is what the top midfield players do

If Pogba added The Scottish Player’s qualities to his obvious talent he would be the best midfielder in the world

After coming off a shocker midweek (and been hooked at half time) to produce that performance against Liverpool at OT.....might have more of a long term future than I thought

Would be very interested to see his game stats today. No one seems to be praising him outside of here

he 21 year old sat, patient and unremarkable, in front of the back four, he and Nemanja Matic forming a breakwater against which waves of Liverpool’s attack fruitlessly crashed. Of The Scottish Player’s 42 touches, only 12 came in the Liverpool half and eight of those were within 10 yards of the halfway line. It was a performance of great application and discipline

Sake.

He was excellent today. You don't need to see stats to know that.

There's no hate for the lad. A few saying he's limited, because he is, but he keeps it simple, He's disciplined and he plays a part in giving other players more license.

Stepped up today after a shit Monday night.

I’m not sure where the ‘he’s not very good but works hard’ line has come from tbh. He’s played a handful of games and done extremely well for an academy kid. We have no idea what he can become, but his attitude indicates a very high bar indeed.

Well done son.

He's not a "big name", is he?

(though in at least one respect, he undoubtedly is)

I think he's just one who doesn't jump out a talent, but hey, no complaints. He's a growing influence and been a great bonus for us this year.

I thinks he's more than just a big kid or a 'Mourinho player' etc

He has legit talent but isn't affraid to put a shift in, an intelligent player too with a load of composure for such a young player

The way he put his foot on the ball or won a free kick in the second half when they were on top was like something a veteran international would do

Has a nice touch and knows when to play the ball forward

Trouble is most fans of all clubs over hype them on a good day and want them £#%&!ed off on a bad one.

Said it before but give the lad 2-3 years in the first team squad and we will then know.
