Another build, just to confuse you a bit more. Better cpu, better gpu, no ssd, don't really need 16gb of ram yet, should run stuff like Doom at 1080p/60 at high (not ultra) settings. Much better than PS4 or Xbox One specs-wise.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

1 x AMD Ryzen 5 Quad Core 1400 3.40GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail= 158.99

1 x Team Group Dark Pro 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black/Red (TDPRD48G3200= 89.99

1 x Phanteks Eclipse P300 Glass Midi Tower Case - Black= 54.95

1 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (GV-N1060WF2OC-3GD)= 188.99

1 x XFX XT Series 500W 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply= 42.95

1 x Toshiba P300 2TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache High Performance Hard Drive (HDWD120UZSVA)= 57.95

1 x Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 AMD B350 (Socket AM4) DDR4 ATX Motherboard= 101.99

Comes in at the high end of your budget though.

Cheers Poopers. YHGR. Only bumped it up to 16 because Ears said so. Not a massive jump in price though.

This will be fine for most games at 1080p. If you want a bit more future proofing out of it though get a 1070 instead of a 1060

I'd also say get a 1600 over the 1400 (6 cores v 4) but you're again adding more cost. the 1070 will play pretty much anything at 1080p 100fps + though.
