Default Jk rowling, toxicology report shows drug cocktail cause of death

Quote:
It did not surprise anyone close to Joanne Rowling, but the Paddington District Coroner's final toxicology report -- conducted during the author's autopsy -- sadly revealed that Rowling was ''highly intoxicated'' with a combination of various substances at the time of her death late this morning.

According to the report, significant traces of marijuana and morphine were found in Rowling's blood -- a virtual ''cocktail'' of drugs that also included Valium, codeine and an antihistamine. The 41-year-old writer, had a long history of drug and alcohol abuse, (publically suppressed by her management, sensitive to her image as a childrens author) and had been targeted by friends and family members on a number of occasions for interventions to get her into treatment for her addictions.

At her death, Rowling weighed more than 220 pounds, and the official cause of death was an enlarged heart -- a condition that certainly would have been complicated by the toxic combination of drugs in her system. According to the coroner's report, Rowlings heart weighed more than 1-1/2 pounds. In checking several medical sources, I learned the normal weight for an average adult male heart is 10 ounces -- making Rowling's heart almost 2-1/2 times the average.

The author, best known for her highly successful Harry Potter series had battled various drug addictions and was found dead in her Notting Hill apartment at lunchtime, June 26th.

News just in, JK Rowling, the creator of the Harry Potter series has been found dead in her west london apartment. Reports say, traces of the the cocaine derivative, Crack were found in her bloodstream. Witnesses say, prior to the grisly discovery, Rowling was seen to be 'out of control', 'wantonly aggressive' and 'just plain rude', in the hours before her demise.

Police forensic reports have found evidence of heroin abuse suggesting the Harry Potter author was indulging in a high risk drug cocktail known on the street as a 'Speedball'.

Claims that she was being chased by a little green goblin have been judged by Scotland Yard detectives as devious and irresponsible.

More news as it becomes available.
