Sky sports news sort of mentioned it and quickly moved on…

Guessing they’re up for it this time? Probably secured the broadcast rights for when it happens.

Reeks of desperation. Spanish lads doing all they can to stay at the top and an Italian club second only to City in the corruption league.

City and Chelsea would probably be up for it at this point.

They are not wrong about what is wrong with the game, they cannot be trusted with a solution

Would love them to join. £#%&! them off once and for all and they can enjoy their big games against Juventus just as we start racking up proper trophies again.

Yep, would be beautiful. In their own little league of ultra rich @#%&!s playing real life FIFA friendlies against each other.

How long until a code switch type scenario?

Domestic football vs. European football.

So here's a worrying thought.

What if the glazers only decided to sell up because the ESL coupe fell through? If it is back on the table might they be tempted to hold tight!

Last time they had that thought we managed to shut down one of the biggest games in English football. Hopefully they learned their lesson.

Florentino Pérez is on record as saying he thinks matches should last 60 minutes because "kids get bored watching football". Why are billionaires so f***ing stupid?

Plus if you read a lot of communist critiques of the West from the 50s and 60s they're spot on about the lonely, pointless nature of life in an individualist, decadent society. As you say, the diagnosis was right but the prescription was way off...

Andrea Agnelli speaking to De Telegraaf is rather bitter....

"Only the Premier League is growing and growing and is already a glorified Super League. They raise €4bn a year, Spain about half, Germany €1.5bn and the Netherlands €100m. English dominance threatens European football".

Listened to an interesting latest Price Of Football podcast with the MP Tracy Crouch who led the fan review and white paper on a football regulator. Says that when (not if) this passes into law, this will prevent any English club joining the ESL.
