Very good player, McClair. I think his contribution in transforming us from the crap we were to team we became is often overlooked. Wouldn't be in my top 4, but definitely worthy of consideration.

He was a bit of marmite player though. Plenty £#%&!ing loathed him.

The others are right though imo. I'm not saying McClair was shit, just that I can't see how he's even close to the top four forwards under Ferige.

Nowhere near the top four, but as someone else said, an important player in the 'formative' years between being shite and title contenders. He's not helped that he the one dropped up front for Eric who then went on to be the massive difference, therefore making McClair look like the problem
