Ronaldo definitely played as a striker, a lone one at that, in Porto in '09 and in the '09 CL Final.

He was the very definition of a false 9 () in '07-08, so false they all thought he was a winger

If ronnie is being included, then he's in everyones or should be, so excluding R7

RVN
Rooney
Eric
Andrew

Rvp is in his first season and could disappear down InjuryMiseryLane next week for all I know

Including Ronnie (which we really shouldn't) it would be RVN to take the drop.

Ronnie was a winger for us; played the odd game up top but mainly used as a winger.

well obviously the later two did way more than Van Persie to this point but if youre talking quality, Van Persie is a level up.

Good point though.

Ronaldo played as a "forward" in 07/08, and was still fairly special
Got bored of slagging him off now, then??

If that translates in a normal football fan's thoughts (not a red spectacled view) as "he was lucky to pass it straight through Eboue", then we agree.

I'm strictly picking strikers, so leaving Ronnie out on that basis.

Cantona.
Cole.
Ruud.
Rooney.

A good mix of penalty box hitmen and players with added creativity.

RVP still needs to prove himself in a United shirt for longer than 4 months, but if he keeps going like this he'll edge out Cole.

Disappointed at the lack of love Yorkie is getting I have to say. He was £#%&!ing phenomenal in our most successful season ever.

Its just not putting the best 4 strikers is it? has to be a good blend.

Eric Cantona
RVP
Ole (super sub)
Hughes (for those cold bruising nights at stoke)
