Only for us tbh.

He seemed desperate not to give that one today and it was clear as bastard day

The ref

Great subs from Erik.

Sabitzer looks like he might be a bit of a beast Going to need him.

You get the feeling that on the few occasions that we get a big decision in our favour we end up paying for it in the next few matches. After Bruno's goal in the derby and the subsequent outcry, we got nothing for a few games after. After today's early penalty, you just knew that was going to be our lot for the rest of the game.

Match thread throwing pelters. Ffs these players are on every 3 days and winning there 13th on spin at home yea 13. Players red carded last 25 mins with 10 men. A brill resilience from the team yet people find fault. Maybe Utd isn’t for you lot. Minds blown.

A few minor grumbles about making hard work of things, but not much else

Proves the VAR people were only looking for a United player misbehaving.

I think it was you who said it a few match threads back.

It will disallow goals offside by a mm but actual fouls and decisions the ref doesn’t see because of incompetence VAR will let it go

Ten Hag went mad with the last 3 referee`s we have had when he was interviewed after the game and in particular the decisions that didn`t go to var. Elbow at palace, dumb @#%&! v Erickson at OT then this one and VAR are all over it! Some of the decisions today were an absolute joke and the added time was going to go on until they scored until we got the ball. Pissed off because we were in complete control until Anthony started pushing the man mountain about

You knew damn well this was coming after the Bruno goal against city.

ABUs love to point out how refs favour, but any favourable decision we get it analysed ten fold compared to anyone else. Officials don’t want the hassle and don’t want to appear biased, so we get weeks of being shafted.

And when it happens to us, it just gets dimissed:

“That makes up for all that Fergie time against Sheffield Wednesday in 1993”

The amount of time that their then manager Trevor Francis, said after the game had been fully justified?

Something totally written out of history.
