my main issue is chelsea, you just know they couldn't continue to be as abject as they have been the last few months.

they've got lampard back now scoring, torres and this other sideshow bob looking @#%&! from benfica.

now, the fact that they are in a direct position to claw back 6 points on us by playing us twice worries me. That and the fact we have to face liverpool who will have gotten better by the time we roll around.

It's all in our own hands now though.

We deserve £#%&! all if Chelsea overhaul us ffs. The most we can finish on is 86 points and that's if they win their last 17 games (including last 3) which would smash all sorts of records.

Actually, "slightly worried" sounds about right - even more so given that they are due a result against us

OTOH, the suspicion that they will drop points in "easy" games remains.

I'd say they've only got 4 or maybe 5 'easy' fixtures in there, the rest are pretty difficult, especially some of the away games. I still think us and chelsea will be finishing 1st and 2nd, who knows in what order though.

We'll have to collapse to finish behind Chelsea and they'll have to go pretty much unbeaten

think we're ticking over nicely, coming into form, players back from injury and looking much more likely to kick on than to fall back into the pack.

i'd sooner have our settled and harmonious squad than the disruption and pressure city, chelsea and liverpool will have. rooney starts firing and we're more than well set.

btw i'm a fan of carrick but it's nteresting that our recent improvement has coincided with his being out. just a thought.

Started against Birmingham, missed the abomination at Blackpool and started last night. Also played Blackburn, Sunderland and Arsenal
