I think that it would be better if Liverpool drew 0-0 today and got knocked out by Athletico next week so they would really need to beat Chelsea next weekend if they want European football next season

liverpool will not roll over against chelsea thier players are far too proffesional to do that.
so on that basis i hope burnley stuff them second half .

Look, unless Everton get 7 or 9 points and Liverpool none by the end of the season, Liverpool will be in the Europa League next season come what may. The FA Cup place will be given to the team in 7th as Portsmouth (who should get it) can't as they're in administration. Liverpool have nothing to play for this season other than beating Atletico to get to the final. I thought everyone knew this.

And let's not forget when Liverpool could have gifted the title to Dalglish's Blackburn 15 years ago, they actually beat them (although United didn't beat West Ham). There's no conspiracy.
