What game? The goal kick rule change in 2019 hasn't helped either to be fair. It changed the fundamentals of football at the top level. It's all about beating the press and trying to be the best Pep acolyte.

It’s dull because two good teams are finding it hard to break each other down because they’ve set up properly. .

they’ve had 4 shots each in that half.

in the same fixture against us 3 weeks ago, city had 18 shots in the first half!
At half time yesterday Brentford had notched up 14 shots against us.

Give me dull over whatever our genius manager seems to be serving up!

City are not what they were last season.

This is awful. Absolute anti-football. Don’t compare this era to United v Arsenal in the 90s ever again.

I should imagine every print journalist is trusting there will be a late goal in this bore so they can write off all this torpid dreck as "City had to be patient..." or "Arsenal got the tactics spot on..."
Whereas, honestly, it's just a plain old fashioned lousy match.

I'd take Mou back if only because he lives to £#%&! up teams that play this style of football.

Arsenal break from their own box with numbers

Silva blatantly brings down the ball carrier from behind

No card.

Pathetic

Edit: now books Arsenal keeper for time wasting

Advantage Liverpool

Be nice if we didn’t roll over for them next week.

Well worth it too. Very hard to break down. They’ve grown up a lot in the last year. City didn’t have a clue what to do there.
